Don’t rush off
We serve refreshments immediately before and after the service. We hope that you’ll want to stick around at the end of the service to enjoy some coffee and cake so we can get to meet you.
Whether you’ve never been to church before or have been going to church for years we hope that you will feel comfortable with us. You don’t need to know anything about God before you come along: our services are the perfect place to explore who God is and we try to avoid unnecessary jargon or formality.
We want every person who comes to feel at home so you can wear on Sunday whatever you’d usually put on – just do put something on!
A typical service runs from 10:30am to 12:00pm. You are under no obligation to stay in for the whole thing, though we’d love if you could stay for refreshments at the end so we can get to know you.
We do spend some of the time singing on a Sunday but as with every part of our time together you take it at your own speed.
We love to welcome people of all ages and stages so absolutely bring them with you.
Kids ARE loud but we really want them to feel included and for you not to feel embarrassed about it. If, at any point, you feel you need to give them some space there are plenty of areas to go. If you have a baby or toddler the self-serve crèche is always open.
We want you to find your own pace with all that’s going on. Wherever you’re starting from we want you join in with as much as you’d feel comfortable with.
We have Bibles available if you’d like one but when we’re speaking from a part if it we have the words we’re looking at projected onto a screen.
Children and young people are always welcome at Grace Church. During the talk we provide age specific groups, where we enjoy storytelling and fun activities as they learn more about Jesus. Find out more about graceKids and Engage Youth.
There is only so much we can tell you, don’t just take our word for it, come along and experience a Sunday service for yourself.
