A King Like No Other

Tim Keller writes that “Jesus’s life, death and resurrection form the central event of cosmic and human history as well as the central organising principle of our own lives. Said another way, the whole story of the world – and of how we fit into it – is most clearly understood through a careful, direct look at the story of Jesus” (King’s Cross).

The aim of this series is to enable us to take a careful, direct look at Jesus in the pages of Mark’s Gospel, so we can better understand his supreme significance in history, and the need to keep him central to our lives.

Relevant for then and relevant for now this story packs a punch far above the weight of it’s few verses. Extra details and a crunch of gears just help to make us wonder what Jesus was talking about. Matt endeavours to explain the significance.

Jesus and the Temple
