God’s people are at Mount Sinai, Moses has gone up the mountain to meet with God. God has given him the ten commandments to take back to the people. Moses has had a special encounter with God and while he wasn’t able to see God’s face, he could see his back. When we can see God’s back, we can follow him all our days.
